kay so I was anxiously waiting for the result all day, and it finally came out! Yes, the winners of the Etoile photo contest, I was really hoping to win with my first one since that was the one I spent the most time on, and guess what? That one didn't win and my forth one did! Okay so this is what happened:
On January 2nd, I went on Étoile Sisters blog like what I usually do everyday and found out that there's a photo contest. The theme was Best Thing. I was struggling and scratch my head, and couldn't come up with any good idea. Later that night, I couldn't sleep so I just sat there and looking at random things, then I saw the clock. There's 12 hours, just like 12 months, and so that's how I came up with the idea of the Etoile 2011 clock. And after that, ideas just come to me like waves -- one by one. On January 9th, I was really psyched that I was jumping up and down around the house. I even stayed up because I thought they would announce it right at mid-night. But turns out no, so I went to sleep. Then today, January 10th, I just got home from school 2 hours ago, and I was checking the results, searched everywhere, and turns out they posted on their blog, and then...I SCREAMED >.< I was the first one that they picked, then I go on Pico, got a letter from Mai saying that I won, I WAS SHOCKED LIKE COMPLETELY
So I have a dream, but nothing like the one Martin luther King had. Mine was about being able to spend Christmas with the Etoiles every year, no matter how cold December is, we will always be warm, at least in our heart:)
